Shockwave Flash Plugin crash

Why does Shockwave Flash Plugin fail if I try to edit an imported GPX, which was previously exported from BikeRouteToaster or MapMyRide

I'll take a look at this - which particular route/trip is it? Can you link me to it so I can try myself?

I just checked it out, unfortunately, this is one of the nasty bugs that I haven't solved yet. I am rewriting the map stuff from scratch which is solving many of these "quirks". The good thing is mapping will become much more robust. THe bad thing is it is at least a month before I'll have it ready for public consumption...Sorry for the hassle, but the best I can say right now is sit tight and we'll get this fixed ASAP.

I am trying to plot some long (600km) Audax rides and I have a feeling that if I use the same section of road in the same direction it slow ridewith gps down and eventually provokes a shockwave crash. Is this possible? Is 600 km too long?

Our planner doesn't perform well for long routes. We are about to
release a new version that doesn't use flash, which should solve this
problem (up to a reasonable limit). a 3000 mile route is going to be
slow still ;)

Thanks very much for the update. I think Flash is a problem with a few
systems I use.

I like Ride with GPS very much and will certainly stick with it.
Patience gets me there!
