Using a garmin edge 705 on the 3.30 fimware the speed graph at the bottom of the detailed view page goes down to zero then jumps up to a huge speed beyond what I can do on my bike. Zoom in on any area of the map on http://ridewithgps.com/trips/228594 and you will see the graph fall and rise. The same does not occur on connect.garmin.com. Not sure if it's an issue with the garmin and connect.garmin.com can smooth those problems areas or if ride with gps has the issue

The problem is we are showing raw data in that graph, not the smoothed data we actually use to compute numbers. Garmin Connect shows smoothed data. We will soon have smoothed data as the default, with the ability to toggle raw. We will still keep raw data for HR and Cadence though, since those don't benefit from smoothing when being graphed, though we may add it as an option :) Going to resolve this since it's not necessarily a "bug", but more of a feature that we are working on. The speed is artificially high because of sensor error in the GPS.
