Resolved: "Add course point" does nothing

Started by celtic frost on Mar 10, 10
Hi -- when editing a route, there's an option to "add course point". I click on it, then point to the spot of the route where I want a course point, then a window pops up where I can name the course point. After naming it, I save the route. But when I reload the route, the course point that i created does not appear -- any tips? thanks

Yeah, something broke there. Similar issues with the Delete Segment stuff.

I have similar problems. My computer's hard drive goes mad for a minute or more after selecting "add course point", it then finally lets me add a point - but sometimes the blue dot does not appear (meaning I cannot add the point) - just the words near the mouse pointer appear. Is there some strange script running for this?

I have seen this on occasion, but not often. I suspect it's a matter of system load.

I have been struggling with the same issue. And the performance goes in the tank when I try to add a course point, hard drive goes crazy and then nothing happens. I'm getting pretty frustrated.

I have the same problem. After a certain number of data points, the "add course point" just stops working. Since I regularly ride routes that combine roads with trails, lacking this ability is a serious issue for me.

Running on my Mac and Firefox, it adds a coursepoint on the cue sheet. It does not appear on the map unless you highlight the respective cue. That opens a descriptor box pointing to the spot on the map.

Would it be possible to have an option to view added coursepoints as pins (or something) on the map?
