Max Speed Differences

I use Nokia Sports Tracker on my phone to record my journeys. When I upload the GPX file to Ride with GPS the maximum speed is always lower. For example. Max speed on my last ride was 31.5mpg on Sports Tracker but is showing as 28.7mph on this site.
