Mark sections/points in uploaded trips

I'd like to be able to mark sections or points in trips I've uploaded.
This feature would allow you to add start/end or POI markers to trips that you've uploaded from your GPS.
A lot of the trips I upload include named trails. It would be great if I could mark these sections and give them a name.
