Premium Account Updates

We have been hard at work bringing some new features to our premium accounts. In the last week, we have released stationary ride support as well as advanced turn notifications for TCX exports. In the prior month we released some big improvements to our PDF generation tool - you can now generate PDF maps as well as cuesheets. Within the next week we will also be releasing the ability to customize Virtual Partner time values on TCX export This will allow premium users to race against their virtual partner in order to improve performance!

Here is a quick list of our main premium features:
  • Map and cuesheet PDF printing
  • Advanced activity center and calendar
  • Gear maintenance tracker
  • Lap/Split support, manual and from GPS logs
  • Direct write to Garmin units
  • Stationary trainer support
  • ANT+ weight scale support

Additionally, premium users are entitled to free phone support - we want to make you as comfortable with our site as possible. If you are on the fence, don't hesitate to get ahold of us either through the Feedback function of the site or by emailing us directly at info@ridewithgps.com. We are happy to let you try before you buy!

If you are still curious as to what premium accounts can do for you, check out the Choose Account page to get an idea of our current offerings.

No More Flash!

After many months of development, we have completely gotten rid of the aspects of our site which require flash! This was a common complaint from users, especially those who wished to view a route while using their iPad. With the new Javascript based elevation profile, this is no longer an issue. Additionally, we released several new features on the elevation profile, including power meter support with 30 and 60 second moving averages.

New Custom RWGPS Base Maps

After spending a month setting up our own map server, we finally released our custom RWGPS styled maps! You can choose the "RWGPS" map type from the map type select drop down in the upper right corner of the map, either while planning or viewing a route. The maps are generated using Open Street Map data and are continually updated.
