Largest recreational cycling club in NYC

This is the access to the original cycling and hiking venue. The main trail goes around the lake, which is strikingly beautiful. It does not directly access the newly built singletrack, which is on the eastern side of Long Meadow Rd. However, you can do that if you stay on Long Meadow Rd past the turn for the visitor's center and look for the parking area on the right.

Quite a pleasant route; open country and good shoulders where you need them.

You can opt to take the next left off Long Meadow Rd into the park, especially if you are on a thinner tired bike.

There is an opulent visitors center with rest rooms, water, gift shop and a large interactive model of the park, located off Reception Rd. It appears as a question mark on the pdf map.
