Red Bug Lake and 436, going West-bound, is a four-lane road with numerous options for left turns, right turns, and straight-to-right merges. As the cyclist passes the Fire Station on her left, it should be important to note that the cyclist should be lane-assertive, go STRAIGHT across WInter Park, and then CONTINUE to control her lane as the road merges on to 436, heading NW. However, there is a short distance of about 700' between the merge and the need to get in the left hand lane for Kewanee Trail. The cyclist should begin the left-signals EARLY, to avoid getting trapped in the right-turn only lane, and allow traffic to pass on both sides after each pause between lane changes. The intersection at Kewanee also poses a small challenge, as it is pretty wide. I prefer to stay back and wait for the green arrow, but if there is truly no oncoming traffic, I think it would be okay for the cyclist to move out in to the middle, stop, continue signalling her intent, then turning when either traffic emptied or the light allowed it.

Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800 including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
