For decades, valley-dwellers envisioned a hiking and cycling route to the coast, but land access prevented this dream from becoming a reality until very recently. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the Corvallis-to-the-Sea Trail Partnership, we now have the C2C Trail: a 60-mile route that spans the coast range, connecting Corvallis to Ona Beach, just south of Newport.
Most often done as an overnighter, the C2C has everything - lush forests, hidden valleys, steep gravel climbs, and loamy single-track. There’s no better way to experience the solitude and history of Oregon’s coast range.
