Red Lion at Little Missendon

Nine riders set out after welcoming new boy Geoff.
Sally, Alan, Brian, Cliff, Bernie, Steve, Margaret, and John. We met Terry at Chalfont St Peter he had invited us to attend the Remembrance ceremony. We were delayed slightly but stopped for the minutes silence en-route. Tea stop at Budgens despondent at the shortage of free cakes for the beverage offer we were overjoyed the toilet was working. Pedalling our way to Beaconsfield and through Penn Street we passed down the narrow Beaumond Lane to Little Missenden. The Red Lion was truly excellent, varied, value tasty meals were ordered and presented simultaneously. Possibly the thought of more hills sent four cyclists heading for the flat lands.

We six ascended to Little Chalfont and Amersham we agreed to not stop for a drinks break and headed for Denham Lane and home.
