I'm not sure if I mentioned the off-road aspect of my ride on the Loiterers website rides list.
Perhaps because of this omission I managed to get eight followers despite heavy rain the previous day.
We followed a rather circuitous route of my own devising through Ruislip, Pinner, Pinner Hill Northwood to our 11s stop at Rickmansworth golf club.
Meeting Dave Peck & Melissa there.
John H left the ride here and we were unable to persuade Dave & Mel to join us. So the slightly depleted group set off to the Gate in Bricket Wood following a rather leafy / swampy Ebury way through to Watford then an equally muddy route through Otterspool to the Gate Pub for lunch.
The return journey took us to the outskirts of St Albans before joining the Grand Union canal to Kings Langley.
I got a little lost in the maze that constitutes the Grove golf course before swallowing my pride and getting directions to Whippendell woods from another cyclist. Another woodland path leading us to Cassiobury park where Peter then John McM & Sandra left the ride. The rump of the group me, Iain, Michael, Cliff & Bernie retraced part of the Ebury way to disperse at Rickmansworth.

Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.Go Premium
