Route of Parks

This 182 mile route goes through 3 state parks and one national park. You will also climb and descend three mountains. The route leaves Wildcat Harley Davidson and travels south on US 25 before in Corbin, where you will have the opportunity to eat at the first ever Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant. From Corbin the route goes to Cumberland Falls State Park. From Cumberland Falls you will travel through the town of Williamsburg before getting on Kentucky Hwy 92. You will cross Pine Mountain on a narrow, curvy paved road before descending into the community of Frakes, where you will have the opportunity to tour Historic Henderson Settlement. From Frakes it's a 20 minute ride to Pine Mountain State Park, the first state park in Kentucky. You will enjoy scenic vistas, dine at the state park lodge and visit historic Chain Rock. From Pine Mountain State Park you will ride 15-20 minutes before visiting the town of Middlesboro and Cumberland Gap National Park. You can also climb the steep slopes of Cumberland Mountain and to the Pinnacle where you can stand in three states at one time. You will then travel through Pineville and Barbourville before arriving at Levi Jackson State Park just outside of London.
