Dorchester revisited

Despite the dire weather forecast cycling conditions were almost perfect, the light drizzle late morning didnt't dampen the spirit at all. I set off from Cookham with the pleasant company of the great views all around and my happy thoughts and memories. I visited Dorchester Abbey and tucked into the cosy thatched Red Lion Pub at Brightwell-cum-Sotwell before heading back via the Greys, Henley's Patisserie Valerie and Hurley. Even under grey skies the Chilterns were beautiful.
