Dew drop Inn (2)

Two Johns, Dave, Jean, Sally, Stuart, Alec and Cliff set off and enjoyed the sunnyish and dry day. After losing the route through Gerrads Cross, the leader was relieved when the ridiculing stopped near Marlow. Crossing the Thames at Temple Lock and through Hurley we ascended up Rose Hill to the Dew Drop Inn via a Bridle way named Pudding Lane. This was the first time for all of us except Cliff. The excellent meals were served together, well done staff. A great pub. Time was pressing we descended Honey hill with magnificent views of the Thames valley. Passing Hurley we cycled to Marlow via Bisham. We followed a parallel track through Marlow to Bourne End. The group were grateful for the route up Windsor Hill. Hacking on to the tea stop at the Falcon, at Denham we lost Stuart. (never overtake the leader.)
