This is my best approximation of the anticlockwise "Round the Island" route, starting from Yarmouth. I created this route because the signing on the roads is often less than ideal. I say it is an approximation - it is mostly based on my actual ride, so very accurate, except that I deviated from the route twice - the first time (accidentally) at 65.5km, when I took a wrong turn into Ryde, the second time (deliberately) at 94.5km when I hit the A3054 going back into Yarmouth (decided to stay on the A road rather than go through Newbridge, Wellow and Thorley). Therefore for these two sections I have posted what I think the route should be, based on a poor-quality "official" PDF map.
Note that I completed the course on a road bike, so certainly suitable for thin tyres, but the condition of the roads ranged from excellent to pretty poor.
