Great route, very low traffic even on the middle of the day on a Sunday. No issues with cars, have to watch out for tractors that will pull out and had one dog chase after me.
Great metric century route that's been happening for years as a part of the Tarwheels Bikefest rides. Hillsborough is a great place to start and stop and the traffic isn't too bad on the whole route.
