There is one very difficult climb of about 3 to 3 miles. There is a 6 mile stretch along a well traveled highway. The rest of the ride was pleasant.
Great ride, HOWEVER, I didn't do the section up the mountain as it is FAR too dangerous with limited shoulder for bikes, cars and 18 wheelers. Rest of the ride is great!
