From the steel bridge it is 12.4 miles to the center of Valsetz. From there, it continues northwest for another 1.8 miles to a bridge across the Siletz River. Then, it follow the south shore of the remnants of Valsetz Lake. After 4.7 miles, turn south on the same road that you took from to get to Valsetz. It is 11.7 miles back to the steel bridge.
