Rode the Johnagold 46.5 mi. route in '23. Some intersections were poorly marked but overall the support was wonderful, the rest stops were excellent, the route scenic except the section out to Kanuga Rd. which was heavy traffic. I enjoyed the ride and plan to do it again this year.
Very poorly marked but the road surface was nice. The event ride was terrible.
Relatively equal distances of climbs and descents. Exceptionally scenic, but challenging. Made full use of all gears. Will definitely return for this event - Tour D’Apple - in the future.
Rode this in the Tour d’Apple 2023, very scenic route with a few thigh-burner climbs. Generally low traffic with a few highway crossings, but overall a very enjoyable ride.
