This is the route of an organized charity ride. The route is excellent and offers a couple of "bail-out" opportunities for those who might wish to shorten it.
If you're doing as part of the Labor Day weekend event, keep in mind that it's a mass start event. I don't know what the organizers were thinking (if anything) but starting 500+ riders of widely mixed ability simultaneously on a narrow two-lane road is a formula for disaster. Other than that the organized ride is well supported.
The northern part of this ride is through very quiet rural roads in the largest apple growing region in the state. I ride here weekly and it's fantastic for road riders. The southern sections are good too but will take you through a much higher traffic area.
