Your Adirondack Cycling Source

This 42-mile mixed surface ride has it all, the best of which is that 95% of the route is on rural southern Adirondack backroads. You'll experience everything from smooth rolling paved terrain to gravel roads that see more horse than vehicle traffic. Along which, you'll see plenty of water, but also historic farms, 1800's stacked stone walls and the remnants of old mills as you hopscotch from paved country farm roads to gravel roads that weave through sweet smelling cedar groves.

This was a good loop. More road than gravel and the roads had minimal travel and were generally quiet. The climb on the last few miles of gravel was a grinder ! There are other gravel roads in the vicinity if you want to add some of that.
