40mm+ tires recommended, 50-55mm ideal.

Trail building and surface maintenance work is ongoing on this route as part of the Trans Canada Trail. Some sections are a bit boggy and bumpy but totally rideable for majority of the route.

Great entry ride into bike packing. The terrain would be easy on an unloaded bike but with gear it just adds that little challenge for me to say it’s intermediate. Be careful on the route if it’s been wet. It could get greasy.
