Brandts TT 1

Well organized Time Trial course. Demanding with some hills but not too bad. No USAC license needed. Very cheap, $15.

It's a short ride-10 miles - so it may not satisfy anyone driving long distances, however as a time trial (and this was my first TT) it is well organized, and the route is properly staffed with marshals at each turn. The crew from The Franklin County Cyclists were exceptionally helpful and very friendly. I thought driving 60 miles each way for a 10-mile ride might end up unfulfilling, but the camaraderie of the riders and the excitement of pedaling as hard as I could for 10 miles took away any doubts I had about this being a worthwhile ride. Finding a great pizza shop soon after the ride made the day "most excellent".

Scenic ride through rural PA. I rode it in the middle of a weekday with minimal traffic. Pavement is rough in places including the shoulder on Rt 416, but not awful
