Very challenging route with almost 4000 feet of elevation. You can stop in Chappell Hill if needed for water. Kenney Country Store has great food for after the ride.
Very Scenic, low traffic roads, and my Garmin 530 was able to find the entire route with no disruptions. This is my 2nd Wire Donkey and will be doing it again next year if an option.
Excellent route and challenging ride through the hills around Kenney.
No stops so bring enough water and snacks. The Bar in Kenney makes for a nice finish.
Fantastic Spring route (March especially) with Blue Bonnets & Indian Paintbrush in full-bloom. Mostly gravel but a lot of pavement also. If riding in the hotter months, be sure you take a slight detour near Chappell Hill for water/fluids replenishment. That’s about the only place to do so along the route.
