This route follows the Route 301 coordinator north into central Caroline county, then crosses over into King William county and then back into Hanover for the return to the Hanover Courthouse. The route is somewhat unusual in that it is one of the few RABA routes that includes roads between Route 301 and I-95. Most of the route is quite rural with light traffic, although the route includes a few miles on Route 301, two crossings of Route 301 and two crossings of Route 30 (be careful!). Once you get north of Frog Level, the only store on the route is the 600 Market on the return around mile 25. The route name comes from the name of a specialty flower company (daylilies) located on Burruss Road around mile 12; however, the business is not readily visible from the road.
