River Brent Gravel Ride

A London gravel ride on well made tracks as well as quiet back roads from the confluence of the Brent with the Thames to Perivale, after which the surprisingly rural Brent becomes culverted into inaccessible concrete channels. Highlights include the Wharncliffe Viaduct, and Perivale Church, as well as many semi-wild open spaces. The route back to Brentford passes through three of West London's 'Garden Suburbs', leafy and architecturally interesting, but largely unknown, parts of London. The route is a 'mixed surface' route, ideal for any bike other than a skinny tyre'd road bike. For full details of this route and many other traffic-free routes in London, visit; wheremywheelsgo.uk

Varied and semi rural route on traffic free paths. The return leg is through the quiet back streets of two of London’s most architecturally beautiful Garden Suburbs. For full details go to www.wheremywheelsgo.uk
