This is a tour of important locations the exemplified the African-American community at the turn of the century. This tour was taken from a combination of walking tours created by William Burg of the Sacramento Historical Preservation Society.

The first half will show the cross section of famous Jazz Clubs that made up Sacramento's famous live music scene, while the second shows the important pillars of the community of the vibrant Oak Park neighborhood which was a vibrant center of Sacramento's Black community.

SABA graciously thanks William Burg and the Historical Preservation Society for their help and guidance in creating this tour.

This route and tour was first assembled and presented by Pierson Rohr as the February 2023 SABA social ride.
