15. Åmål family ride

Looking for a ride on quite roads to experience with the family? This is perfect and has a mix of gravel and paved roads with very little traffic. The landscape is shifting between open farmed fields with cute houses to tall pine forests that makes you feel way out into the wild. There are some really big hills but its always ok to walk for a bit when things get tough.
Be sure to bring drinks and some candy bars to keep everyone’s spirits high and make many short stops to let the little ones rest. It is 25k after all so a little longer stop for a picnic might also be a good idea. A perfect ending is to eat waffles at the summer open Tollebols kvarn (old mill) as a well deserved treat after the ride.
