Start on the Warburton Rail Trail through Warburton then turn off at Millgrove and up Dee road for a 150m climb up to the aqueduct trail. The trail winds around the hillside next to the aqueduct that used to be part of Melbourne’s water supply from the early 1900’s right up to the 1996. A fantastic ride through beautiful lush forest. A gentle ride on the good gravel aqueduct track with one deviation around a damaged section on a well-worn track. A 150m glide back down the valley at the end.

Can be done in the reverse direction for a coffee stop in Warburton at the end of the ride.

NOTES:
Worth a check of the deviation near the Dee road end before a group ride.
