Rockland Lake Sample

Route goes up thru Piermont & Nyack - stop in Nyack for a quick snack at the Runcible. Then continue on to the multi-use path from Upper Nyack to Rockland Lake. (Path is unpaved but smooth and rideable on a road bike. Beware of dogs & children.)

Once you leave the path you'll have some hills to climb, then a steep descent on Tweed down to 9W - CAUTION IS NEEDED HERE: there's a sharp bend in the road just before a stop sign on a steep descent. Fast traffic will be coming from your left as you make a right turn onto 9W; drivers may not see you - stay on the shoulder.
