Starting and ending in north Phoenix, this ride takes you by Westworld and on Thompson Peak Parkway, one of the Northeast Valley's beautiful areas to ride.

This was a pretty nice route. I rode it on my surly rigid with 2.8 tires.
The first 10 miles takes you through some nice neighborhoods and quiet bike paths..
The climb up Thompson peak road is a nice push.
Juat a note of caution. The northern section that kinda parallels the 101 and also parts of the northeast end of the route looses your bike lane completely. And it’s kindada busy even in a Tuesday morning.
The final push down along 51 was nice with the overpasses and foot bridges…..
All in all, I’d ride this again, but I might try and find a different way along the northern stretches.
Great option if you’re looking for a solid loop in the Phoenix area. Not too familiar with southern Arizona and was passing through and saw this route from the original poster. No complaints from my end just solid riding.
Nice easy to follow route. We rode from the Marriott Canyon Resort and ended up with 37 miles. To beat the heat we started at 6:30am and it was almost too hot by the time we finished. Lots of opportunity for water and bathrooms.
