Twelve of us set off heading out of Uxbridge we had coffee at The White House at Stockley Park. Passing through Cranford and Heston Parks we arrived safely at Osterley Park. Much route guidance was untaken by our Chairman. We arrived at The Greyhound and cordially welcomed. A reserved ‘Pod’ was just big enough for us all. (See Pic) The meal range was large with the £6 specials were of exceptional value.
By this time chairman and Brian had had enough and decided to head home, chairman wished to recky Gunnersbury Park. Leaving no tip, we pressed on down the river bank to Teddington lock, across to Crane Park, Hounslow Heath and to Moniz café. Disappointingly the little Portuguese tarts were gone. We left only sustained by the small complementary biscuits provided with the coffee. In a straight line we cycled along Cranford and Sipson lanes to West Drayton, and dispersed at Hillingdon Hospital. It was a good day.
