Starting from the Create Centre, you leave Bristol on the familiar roads through Long Ashton and Backwell before heading into the idyllic lanes of North Somerset. Passing Blagdon and Chew lakes before (mostly) following the mighty river Chew back to where it joins the Avon. Once you reach the confluence the ride ends at the Lock Keeper near Keynsham for shelter and refreshments. A reasonably Benign route to be ridden at a sociable pace.

A long day in the saddle for the experienced riders. Start at the store before a gentle ride out via the Strawberry Line, Brent Knoll and the Levels, then through Bridgwater and climb onto the Quantocks at Enmore for a hilltop cafe breakfast at The Pines.
After descending Cothelstone road, cross the valley for another beautiful climb into Exmoor National Park. Descend from Raleigh's Cross, then turn homeward through picturesque lanes. Stop for lunch before a daring raid on Crowcombe.
Savour the rolling moors and woodlands, then back onto the flat. Coffee in Wedmore and a climb up Cheddar Gorge. Fast roads through the Chew Valley and finish via the Railway Path.

Starting from the Grove Car Park south to Cheddar Gorge. Some serious hills!

Family ride through Leigh Woods and the Pill waterside path.
Some gravel and unpaved sections (muddy in winter) so wider or treaded tyres recommended.

Utilising two old railway lines this route takes you on a gentle climb south out of the city before looping across to Saltford on country roads to the famous Bristol to Bath Path for a traffic free return. Great for all abilities in this direction, including kids.
