**This route is the Weekly Road Ride route for Spoken Bicycles.**  The ride starts at the shop, located at 1201 Central Avenue in Middletown, OH, and heads out into Madison Township.  It is an all paved route on open roads.  There are a couple gentle climbs, but nothing too steep.  It is great any time of year, however, beware of tough winds in the winter/spring!

* Parking is located in the street or in the parking lot behind @poi[Spoken Bicycles](6802911)
* The route starts downtown and then heads into Madison Township
* Very low traffic once you get off the main road
* @poi[Beautiful views](6802872) while crossing the Great Miami River 
* @slice[Gentle climbs up](d,9323.12,11578.14) @poi[Hinkle Road](6802874), and a fun descent down @poi[Astoria](6963384)
* @slice[Trenton Franklin Road](d,1566.56,4246.79) will have the most traffic so be sure to ride single file on this road

# Notes

* Road bike is best, but can be done on a hybrid
* Beware of an @poi[unleashed dog on Harris Road](6963340) - it will run out to the street
* Intermediate fitness suggested, but great route for someone starting on the road
* There are no stops along the route so be sure to fuel up downtown before heading out
* Watch for potholes and glass while @poi[crossing the bridge](6963341)
