This is a seasonal ride timed with the annual migration of the Sandhill Cranes, from late October through February. We recommend you arrive at the preserve at least 30 minutes before sunset. It is an extraordinary experience to see and hear these large prehistoric birds as they flock into the Reserve for the night. **You must have adequate lights on your bike** for the ride back in the dark! Bring binoculars and enjoy this unique experience. This ride can also be done in the early morning.
