A great route with few hills and nice scenery in the country Northeast of Loveland Ohio.

Route Details

The Beer Bottle is one of the routes that is relatively flat.  There are no gravel sections of this route.  The route marker is a white beer bottle.

The route takes the standard way out of Loveland up Route 48

* Right on Harrison
* Left on Grog Run
* Right on Murdock-Goshen
* Left on Dallasburg

The route heads through Cozaddale, which is not a town but a dot on the map.  The next road is Roachester-Cozaddale - it ends in a sprint zone for group rides.

YOu turn right on Morrow-Rossburg heading south, crossing over Rt 132 and Rt 28.  The next turn occurs at mile 14.5 on @slice[Ulrich Rd](d,23378.66,25266.23).  This stretch can be a bit rough with random gravel.  The road is also narrow with poor sightlines.

A right on Number 5/Taylor Rd heads you back to the South, until you turn right on Number 9 Rd. - this is another narrow road with a rough surface, ending in a minor descent that ends in a stop sign that will come up faster than you might think.

You turn left on Marathon-Edenton Rd. and head up a short hill before turning right on Leuders Rd.  Leuders takes a 90* turn right and then takes a less than 90* turn back to the left and changes names to Roudebush Rd.

The route heads back north towards @point[Stonelick State Park](d,41942.55).  You will pass by the dam and spillway on the East side of the lake.

There are some more long straight sections on the way back in and you could see some wind - normally out of the Southwest.

The route fnishes back on Route 48 turning onto @point[Hatt-Swank Rd](d,61100.73).  The final section of the route is on @point[Adams Rd](d,66508.92). and a steep descent.

With a lack of hills your pace will be higher.  The wind will most likely help on the way out and hinder on the way in.  The only potential stopping point is a @point[small store](d,42225.3) located near Stonelick State Park.

# Important Reminders

The main traffic issues are the trip out on Route 48, and then when crossing over route s @point[132](d,18546.08) and @point[28](d,22207.74).  Parking at @point[Nisbet Park](d,68790.37) can be an issue depending on the day and time of day.
