This route travels West and North of beautiful Lake Weatherford. There are some gentle rollers with one bigger climb in the middle of the route. Some of the homes and ranches along the way have some fantastic art with great photo opportunities.

Route Details

Starting from Lake Weatherford, you will pass the Lake Weatherford Marina and soon warmup on the Dicey Rd climb before heading north to the open countryside. The countryside is filled with gentle rollers and ranches featuring unique art that really make you feel like you're in the heart of Texas.

Around the halfway point of the route before beginning some climbing, there is a Valero Gas Station/Convenience Store. This is the only aid station available after this point, so be sure to stop and refuel if needed.

The climb starting at the 18-mile mark up Old Springtown Rd. will give you a workout, but the three mile descent makes it worth the effort, and you're later greeted with more views of Lake Weatherford.

After finishing the ride, there are two nearby spots to get food and drinks. The Lake Weatherford Marina Cafe is the closest option and Big Burger in Hudson Oaks has great sandwiches and fresh cut fries.
