7 PM on Tuesday, October 27. The Mid America Trails and Greenways Conference will hold the Brewery Bike Tour. This will be a 6 mile ride with stops at three breweries and one bar with a bunch of craft brews on tap.

The ride will begin at the Embassy Suites west courtyard. B-Cycles are available through the conference. We will travel along the Riverwalk Trails past Principal Park. We continue on the trail to Confluence Brewery for a mandatory safety and hydration stop.

From there, we continue through Gray's Lake across the trail bridge over the lake. We continue on to Exile Brewery for another safety stop and regroup.

We will continue on to Court Avenue Brewing Company for a safety stop. Our final stop is at El Bait Shop for a safety inspection and hydration stop.

The trip home incorporates the Red Bridge that Andrea has claimed as her own. We return to Embassy Suites as, I'm sure, better people.

If you are bringing your own bike, please have lights and a lock. B-Cycles have locks on the bikes. (less)

Yes, we have trouble, right here in River City. Mason City is home to Meredith Wilson and the basis for The Music Man. But, while you are here, check out the amazing architecture. And, it is best seen by bicycle. (less)
