This is the route of our first and most popular Sportive Ride, which starts from @point[Frogmary Green Farm](d,58.08) just outside South Petherton. We then ride north, heading through South Petherton itself and out across the Somerset Levels towards @point[Wedmore](d,39457.15), where we'll stop for drink and a snack, giving you the opportunity to refuel before riding through Cheddar itself and hitting the stunning (but lung busting!) climb that is @slice[Cheddar Gorge](d,46171.71,60277.33). After winding your way up through the gorge, climbing 370m in the space of 4 miles you are rewarded with stunning views of the Mendips before the @slice[exhilarating descent](d,60373.09,63698.52) down into Wells. Upon leaving the famous cathedral city our next destination will be the Somerset levels village of North Wootton, where we'll stop for another refuel before heading on to the iconic location of @point[Glastonbury Tor](d,78052.4). We will skirt the bottom of the ancient tor before continuing south across the levels to our final stop in the picturesque village of Martock, where we suggest another food and drink break before the sting in the tail; @slice[Ham Hill](d,116158.51,116900.56). From here we will drop back down to our start point at @poi[Adventure Café HQ](6ae17f827261736bc2000000) for hot drinks all-round and a hard-earned bite to eat!

Grand Cycle Tour of Spain
Bike Adventure

Join us on another fantastic adventure when we travel through Spain from top to bottom. Our journey starts on the northern atlantic coast and we weave our way through picturesque towns and villages. We will cycle across the high plateau at over 2000 feet altitude before dropping down to Madrid. We take a well earned rest day before making our way down to Cordoba and on to our final destination Malaga where we can celebrate completing our epic journey.

This ride is designed to offer a more cycle expedition feel as we tackle the full extent of the Iberian Peninsula from top to bottom, exploring and scratching well beneath the surface of real Spanish life, away from the Costas and the tourist honeypots. Of course, we shall be visiting some incredible spots along the way - Parque Nacionales (Gorbea, Montes Obarenes, Cuenca Alta, Sierra Cardena, Montes de Malaga), and historic towns and cities (less)
