This route was used for the 2014 Dr100 100k route. It is a challenging route with very low traffic, beautiful scenery and plenty of rolling hills.

Route Details

A Beautiful route.
This route begins at the Harrisonburg First Church of the Nazarene but can begin anywhere from there to Hwy 33. It can also be started anywhere in the Barrington or Shen Lake subdivisions.  The best parts of the ride begin after @point[crossing Hwy 33](d,6122.53).

Once past Hwy 33 the fun begins.  While on the ride be sure to look east and enjoy this breathtaking view of Massanutten Mountain while pastures line the route. @slice[Scenic View](d,24370.76,26030.44)

This is a very low traffic route, bring extra food and water.

* Park at the Harrisonburg First Church of the Nazarene 	
* Most of the route will still have route marking from past DR100 cycling events
* Very Popular route among area cyclists
* Numerous Strava segments

* To avoid some of the route through the neighborhoods start at the Keezletown Ruritan Club
