You can reach at Sernada do Vouga by train, then go to Sever do Vouga using the Ecovia. You will slowly climb up the mountain following the river path. Excellent landscapes and very close to nature.
Follow the old train tracks and enjoy the scenery.

# If you intend to do an easy and revigorant cycling, this route is perfect!

The old train line has been transformed in @photo[beautiful red pavement](1666369), with excellent quality.  There's a bit of gravel on the begining of this track.

You do not need any extra equipment, just a bicycle and some light training. Breathe deep among the woods, and feel the silence that surrounds you.

**The route is very popular and usual crowded in the summer months.**

# Route

* If you arrive by car, park at the @poi[Sernada do Vouga train station](2952970). You also can start at Macinhata do Vouga.
* The @slice[initial 2 km section](d,27.28,2056.3) of the route will be on road.
* Venture up to @poi[Sever do Vouga](3051048) and enjoy mirtilos (aka European Blueberries). 
* Because this route runs along an old railway there aren't any hard climbs.
* Enjoy the @photo[bridge over Vouga River](1666411).

# Notes

* You can do this route all the year! Spring and Autumn will be most pleasant temperatures.
* There are coffee shops and services along the route, with plenty of water and food availability.
