This is one of our personal favorite rides. Its just long enough to "get away" but short enough your family won't miss you. Plus there's enough challenge in there so you deserve a beer afterwards. And in our opinion this ride has some of the best views around, there's a reason the Tour de Madison uses many of these same roads. (less)

Culpeper Cycling's Easier 35'er is the perfect mid-distance ride that blends just the right amount of hillwork with more casual flat sections. Along the way you will get to see Culpeper's own contribution to the Library of Congress that features the Packard Campus for Audio-Visual Conservation. (less)

The Atokal Loop so named because it's the Lakota Loop in reverse... is an awesome albeit slightly challenging loop. Even though it only gains about 2,200' in its 45 miles, many of the hills are short but steep. (less)
