SORRY, WE WILL HAVE TO DEFER THIS RIDE DUE TO BAD WEATHER
This is a medium to hard ride on a scenic route with fabulous views of water, hills and rural countryside. It is suitable for all bikes. It is mostly on sealed road with 2 sections of unsealed road (total of 10km on gravel - marked in green on the map). If you are on a road bike you will need to be confident riding on gravel.
There is a hill challenge on Silver Hill Road. We will climb to 251m (from 20m) and then it's a steep descent to the Channel Hwy.
We’ll stop at some scenic spots for snacks and drinks.
Bring snacks, water and windproof and waterproof layer.
There might be limited 3G/4G access on parts of the route so best to download or Pin the route in RideWithGPS beforehand. Pinning will give you access to any updates to the route as they are made.
We will meet across the road from the Port Cygnet Cannery on Lymington Road. Check the Meeting Point tab for more help.
Your ride leaders are Urszula Stanny and Caroline van Riet.
Contact Urszula on 0419137342 or Caroline on 0408348524 for more details if required.
