Domain Triple Loop (with a twist)

Created by: Bicycle Network Tasmania

Sat. September 12 9:15AM

Location: Carpark on McVilly Drive, near the Hobart Cenotaph.

Organizers: Greg Dutkowski

This is an exploration ride around the Domain. We first cross the Remembrance Bridge and ride up the Soldiers Walk. Then we do three loops of the Domain.
The first is on the mountain bike track to the summit (or follow the Summit Road if you don't want to tackle the track).
The second is around Max's Infinity Loop, before descending to the Botanic Gardens for a refreshing cup of tea.
The third is a large loop, along the Inter City Cycleway, and then back along some quiet roads in New Town, and back to the City along Campbell St, using the footpath.

So a variety of tracks and roads. Suitable for inexperienced cyclist for the first two loops, and then some experience with road riding will help on the latter part of the third loop, but we will be in a group so you can ride confidently.

If the weather is bad or if it is too windy it will be cancelled so book in so that you can be contacted.

Gather at 09:15 for a 09:30 start.

  2. Privacy and Preferences in your RideWithGPS account
