Last time we did this ride, I called it the 80's ride: "EEEEEEEE - Extreme Exterior Energy Expenditure Engendering Enjoyment, Even Ecstasy".
But nobody got the joke, so back to the original name.
Your knees may still tremble as we climb up the hills, but you will certainly squEEEEEEEEEEEal as you race down the other side.
This is an challenging ride up the Hobart Rivulet to Knocklofty, around to Lenah Valley, down the New Town Rivulet, and then back along the River Derwent.
Suitable for experienced cyclists, or those who wish to become so, with a mixture of tracks and roads and some steep climbs. Your bike will need low gears (or electric assist) and tyres wide enough to go on gravel paths. Unless you came before, it is guaranteed you will ride places you have never been before.
Coffee stop planned so you get to meet other cyclists.
If the weather is bad or if it is too windy it will be cancelled so book in so you can be contacted.
Contact Greg on greg.dutkowski@gmail.com 0408238495 for more details or contact on the day, if required.
Be aware: Please don’t come if at all unwell or have symptoms of becoming unwell.
