# Velika - cycling route 3

Length: 23,8 km
        Start: Velika, St. Augustine church
        Finish: Velika, St. Augustine church
        Minimum Elevation: 276 m
        Maximum Elevation: 760 m
        Elevation Gain: 736 m

The route starts from @poi[St. Augustine church](2561957) in Velika, and rides passed Velika's pools and vacation site @point[where the asphalt ends](d,525.52).

You'll ride on macadam to to an unused quarry, then turn left. If the road barrier down, go around it. After approximately 1km, just before the forestry facility, you will split off the road to left, towards Jezerce through a big clearance with few paths crossing.

Continue to go right, and carefully follow the signs because the road goes over a few forest paths. By the time you arrive to @poi[Jankovac](2561955) it will be time for a rest. Observe the park forest and tour Count's trail (on foot).

@photo[The road](2166073) back to Velika is not asphalted, but is well maintained. There is a crossing and @poi[homeland war landmark](2561956) on the highest point of the road. Continue forward, and the 9km long downhill awaits.

After passing @point[the quarry](d,22152.5), you'll enter the Velika.
