A 37 mile gravel ride to the northwest of Milan, MI. We like to fit this in between breakfast and lunch for a quick morning workout. Credit to Mike Meiser of the Flatlanders for the route.

Route Details

One of our favorite lunch destinations is Original Gravity Brewing in Milan, Michigan. If you arrive early, you can grab a great cup of coffee from @poi[Milan Coffee Works](10531386) next door. This route features the gravel roads to the northwest of Milan, roads that begin to undulate with the terrain. Bethel Church Road is the highlight of the ride with fun rollers that can wear you down by the time you reach the church.

3. @slice[Make a safe left onto Route 12. The shoulder is wide, so this short section on pavement isn't all that bad.](d,15380.73,17244.49)

5. @slice[The highlight of this route is the undulating Bethel Church Road. It's 5 miles in length with few hundred feet worth of short, punchy climbs. ](d,21145.7,29976.15)

7. @slice[More gravel with brief sections of pavement through Bridgewater and Benton. There are some small hills, but mostly it is just a scenic ride through the countryside.](d,30955.94,51522.96)
