Nearly 8000 ft of climbing in ~50 miles just minutes from Downtown Portland traversing the West Hills, RondePDX is the stuff legends are made of. Named in honor of Belgium’s legendary Tour of Flanders (De Ronde van Vlaanderen), this route mimics that One Day Classic’s profile – not long climbs, but lots of short, steep, treacherous ones.
Tradition has it that on the 14th Day of Worship, the hard men of the land shall gather to match their skill and strength against each other on the inclines of Flandrian earth, stone and tarmac.
Follow the routes any time you choose. The lions are waiting to devour you.
