This ride packs a lot of adventure into 21 miles, with 9 miles of gravel around Lake Youngs Reservoir, some steep hills with grades up to 9%, 1,250 feet of elevation gained and lost, and a bit of single track as an option. Well worth the effort for the solitude and the wildlife. Lots of deer to be seen, and the location feels more remote than it actually is. There are not many views of the lake because the tree cover is very dense. (less)
