Route Details

This is my friend Mike's favorite ride from West Chester. This route takes you on many of the best roads in Chester County. There is not much traffic once you get out of West Chester.

The ride starts in downtown West Chester. The ride goes past @poi[Stroud](110949369) and @poi[ChesLen Preserves](110949370). You will also go through the @poi[Speakman Covered Bridge](110949548).

One of my favorite parts of the ride starts on Apple Grove Road which starts a the entrance to @poi[The Laurels Preserve](110949371). From there you will turn on to Brandywine Creek Road and follow the [West Branch of the Brandywine Creek](https://www.brandywine.org/conservancy/engage-communities/brandywine-creek-greenway) to Embreeville Road past the @poi[Embreeville Mill](110949372) and finally turn onto Brandywine Drive before heading back to West Chester and [Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant](https://ironhillbrewery.com/location/west-chester-pa/) for a beer!

## Parking
There is lots of parking in West Chester including [garages and lots](https://www.west-chester.com/Facilities?clear=False) and metered parking is free on Saturdays until 5 pm and all day Sunday. You can also park for free by heading a a few blocks north from downtown and park on the street near @poi[Barclay Park](110949038).
